Benefits for Members
Regular alumni dues and life membership dues help finance activities for alumni and students.
Activities include:
- Alumni gatherings
- Continuing education weekends
- Alumni publications
- Career mentoring
- Activities for current and prospective students
- Alumni and student recognition awards
- Variety of other projects that help keep alumni actively involved with the University.
Each college alumni association develops its own rate structure for alumni dues, sets its own operational
budget and uses dues revenue to carry out its own goals and objectives. The college alumni groups have
chosen over the years to designate a portion of their annual dues income to student-related programs and
scholarship assistance. To become a member, you join through your college alumni group.

In addition to services provided to all MUSC alumni, such as the Find-A-Friend Program and our MUSC Magazine, a
benefits package has been developed to thank the active alumni association members who pay annual dues, have
paid lifetime membership dues, or are honorary or complimentary members. Some specially negotiated benefits
may change from year to year and are described in full in our "For Members Only" booklet.
