New Partnership to Provide Off-season and Short-notice Travel Opportunities for ALumni and Additional Funds for MUSC Programs
The MUSC Alumni Association has entered into a new partnership with Cendant Corp. and its subsidiaries, Resort Condominiums
International, LLC (RCI) and Holiday Network, Inc., to provide alumni with access to savings on off-season and short-notice
stays at world-class resort condo rentals as well as discounts on selected hotels and car rentals. The program will also make
additional income available to support the Association's alumni programs and student-directed activities. MUSC alumni who have
flexible schedules or can travel at times other than during peak vacation seasons will be able to take advantage of exciting
locations around the world through this new partnership.
Your University Alumni Travel Benefits Program includes:
- Deep discounts on vacation rental opportunities including condos, chalets, cottages, and homes within a vast network of more than 3,700 resorts in the U.S. and abroad. Popular destinations include resorts in Florida, Virginia, the Ozarks, the Caribbean, the South Pacific, Spain and Mexico, to name just a few.
- The current price as of July 1, 2004, for the "Off-Season & Short-Notice" resort condo rentals is only $349 for a whole week (7 nights/8 days). This price is the same for studios, 1-bedroom and 2-bedroom condos. Units are fully decorated and equipped. Many have fireplaces, whirlpools, washers and driers in the unit.

This link also allows you to see what is available by pulling up "Search Available Rentals" to review the $349-a-week listings. To plan a vacation or make a reservation, call 1-888-729-3842 and give them your university ID code: ASC-001. The vacation guides also will be able to inform you about available units priced above $349, if you'd like to know about them.
- As an alumni member, you also get 20-25% discounts on car rentals and hotels. To inquire about or make hotel or car rental reservations, call the appropriate number listed on the website, www.alumnitravelbenefits.com.
Each time you go on a vacation listed at www.alumnitravelbenefits.com, you are
helping to support activities benefiting MUSC graduates and current students. For each vacation rental, the Medical University
of South Carolina Alumni Association receives $25 for its programs. If you are one of the first 50 MUSC alumni to book a
reservation under this new program, you will receive a credit of $35 toward a vacation rental for yourself, so don't delay!
